If you give an AI a character to play, does it only change how it talks — or does it also change what it decides?
how to run it
in a fresh conversation, tell it: "You are a severe Victorian botanist." Then ask it a completely unrelated reasoning question — a moral dilemma, a risk-tolerance question, or a judgment call with no single right answer (e.g. "Should a company recall a product after a single customer complaint?"). In a brand-new conversation with no persona at all, ask the exact same question. Compare not just the tone, but the actual judgment or recommendation.
